1.1- Registration
1.1.1- Creating new Members, no Facility
  1. From the Home page, click on
    Login
    to see the popup
  2. Fill in the First Name, using spaces and mixed casing - we will check that the casing is adjusted and spaces removed
  3. Fill in the Last Name, using spaces and mixed casing - we will check that the casing is adjusted and spaces removed
  4. Fill in the Email Address
    1. Attempt to use bad Email Addresses to check that it is not accepted
    2. Attempt to use existing Email Addresses to check that a message indicates that it is already taken
    3. Use a new Email Address to proceed, using mixed casing - we will check that it becomes lower case
  5. Fill in a Password until the bar turns green - we only check for 6 characters
  6. Enter the Password Confirmation - the bar should turn green only when it is the same as the Password
  7. Click on the
    Register
    button
  8. The site redirects to the "My Account" page
  9. A popup asks for further Student information
  10. The Licensing State is mandatory
  11. Check the toggling of the Facility Code area, ending with it closed
  12. Save the data
  13. Verify the several lists to ensure that Lectures are properly listed
    1. 0 in Incomplete
    2. Check proper info to the Student in the Incomplete tab
    3. 0 in Completed
    4. Check proper info to the Student in the Completed tab
    5. 0 in New or default free Lectures available
    6. Check proper info to the Student in the New tab
  14. Go to the Personal Info - see Personal Info test below
  15. Log out

    1. Expected amount in Incomplete
    2. Check proper info to the Student in the Incomplete tab
    3. Check that the number of Lectures matches the number on the Incomplete tab
    4. Expected amount in Completed
    5. Check proper info to the Student in the Completed tab
    6. Check that the number of Lectures matches the number on the Completed tab
    7. All in New
    8. Check proper info to the Student in the New tab
    9. Check that the number of Lectures matches the number on the New tab
  6. Go to the Personal Info - see Personal Info test below
  7. Log out
1.3- Password Recovery
  1. From the Home page, click on
    Login
    to see the popup
  2. Click on the link
  3. On the Password Recovery page, enter a bad Email Address and click on the button
    Request Password
  4. Verify the error message
  5. On the Password Recovery page, enter an existing Email Address and click on the button
    Request Password
  6. Verify the message
  7. Verify that an email was sent (check email or go to Admin > Communication > Emails Sent)
  8. Use the credentials in the email to login
1.4- Personal Info
  1. Login as any Member
  2. Go to the Personal Information page from the My Account page
  3. Change the following fields and look for a possible update in the data entered and a green square that inidcates that the data was saved
    1. User Name - all caps
    2. Screen Name - this will be reflected in the upper right corner of the page upon refresh or page change
    3. Title
    4. First Name - Name casing (only first letter of each word is capitalized, no spaces before or after)
    5. Last Name - Name casing
    6. Profession
    7. Student Type
    8. License State
    9. License Renewal Date - will check proper date as MM/yyyy
    10. Year Hired
    11. Time Zone
    12. Street
    13. Line 2
    14. City
    15. State
    16. Zip Code
    17. Phone 1
    18. Phone 1 Type
    19. Phone 2
    20. Phone 2 Type
    21. e-Mail Address
  4. Set a Password and click on the
    save
    button.
    1. If the Password is shorter than 6 character, an error message pops up
    2. If the Password is accepted, the green square appears
  5. Use a Facility Code to change Facility
    1. Change to a Facility that is not Unlimited and check the Lecture lists
    2. Change to a Facility that is Unlimited and check the Lecture lists
  6. Use the link to drop the Facility. The Member wil then be part of the "No Organization"
  7. Refresh the page to see the impact of the changes in the upper right corner
  8. Logout and back in to confirm that the data is still set as expected in the Personal Info
1.5- Cart
1.5.1- Fill the Cart as Anonymous to a new Member
  1. Go to the "Classes & Certifications" page
  2. Click on a Course or the
    Learn More
    button for a Course
  3. Check the data in the Course detail page
  4. Buy the Course
  5. Being back on the Course list, check that the Course is in the Cart
  6. Add more Courses
  7. Go to the Certifications page
  8. Buy a Certification
  9. Check the Cart
  10. Go to the Bundles page
  11. Buy a Bundle
  12. Check the Cart
  13. Click on the
    Checkout
    button
  14. Verify the Cart content
  15. Remove items from the Cart
  16. Get items back in the Cart
  17. Check that the total is always correct
  18. Click on the
    Checkout
    button
  19. Use the form to Sign Up
  20. Check that the Cart transferred
  21. Check that the Cart merged - Course, Certifications and Bundles already purchased should be marked and not be in the Total
  22. Fill in the Credit Card and address information - use a bad number
  23. Click on the
    Purchase
    button
  24. Confirm the Checkout content
  25. Click on the
    Purchase

  26. Check the error message
  27. Enter the correct card number and purchase
  28. Check that the Courses, Certifications and Packages are now part of the Member's assets

  4. Buy the Course
  5. Being back on the Course list, check that the Course is in the Cart
  6. Add more Courses
  7. Go to the Certifications page
  8. Buy a Certification
  9. Check the Cart
  10. Go to the Bundles page
  11. Buy a Bundle
  12. Check the Cart
  13. Click on the
    Checkout
    button
  14. Verify the Cart content
  15. Remove items from the Cart

  1. Login as a Member that has purchased something
  2. From the My Account page, go to the Invoices page
  3. Check the list of Invoices
  4. Open the details of an Invoice
  5. Check the content of the Invoice
